What would Halloween be with jack-o-lanterns? This ubiquitous symbol of Halloween is easy to make with a free Pumpkin Stencil. These stencils can be printed out, then using a knife, needle, (or dremel), mark the pattern onto the pumpkin. Ehow has some detailed instructions here.

Looking for a traditional pumpkin? Hershey has a nice selection of 24 stencils, sorted by carving difficulty.

Want something more kid-friendly? Nick Jr. has 10 stencils to choose from, including kid-favorites like Dora the Explorer and Go Diego Go.

How about a non-traditional jack-o-lantern? PumpkinGlow.com has their UN-Halloween Pumpkin Patterns, featuring everything from famous people like Bill Cosby to famous places like Mt. Rushmore.

Masks

Throw your own Saturday Night Live skit with free '08 Presidential Election masks from the Chicago Tribune. We recommend that you print these out onto thicker stock paper; your standard 20# office paper doesn't really cut it.
